Job Post: UC comp. eng. grad looking for software dev / design work

For the past four years I have attended the University of Canterbury studying engineering majoring in computer engineering. I hope to take a position in the industry where I am able to work in the development of pieces of consumer software or in embedded software projects not only on a coding level but at a product design level as well. I will bring important skills to the position, including:

  • Programming in multiple languages including C/C++ and Python
  • Software design and implementation in large software projects
  • Electronics Lab training
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Written communication skills including document editing in LATEX
  • High-level customer service

I have a interest in all things technological, especially the dis-assembly/re-assembly of computers and electronics, as well as GUI and usability design in the software I worked on for my previous employment and I would enjoy working at a company where I can get experience working in these fields. I have had previous experience at Christchurch based technology companies such as ARANZ Geo where I worked on a large scale software project based around the development of a new set of features from high level usability and product design to the coding of these features.

My CV is available on request, thank you for taking your time, I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,
Sam Easton
